FactCheck.org was named best Politics website for the 18th Annual Webby Awards. The Webbys, called “the Oscars of the Internet,” are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
This is the fifth time that FactCheck.org has won the judge’s award in the politics category, after previous wins in 2008 and for three straight years from 2010 to 2012. Our fellow nominees included OpenSecrets.org from the Center for Responsive Politics, TheNation.com, and the websites for Drunk Dial Congress and Iraq — 10 years, 100 Viewpoints.
For the seventh time since 2007, FactCheck.org received the most votes in the Webby People’s Voice competition for politics.
